5 Film Classics that Should Be in Every Home

Film classics are timeless pieces of cinema. They’re often considered to be some of the greatest films ever created, spanning decades or even centuries. If you’ve seen every film out there, it’d probably take you hundreds (or even thousands) of hours to catch them all while playing online gambling games. These five classic films are perfect examples of films that everyone should see at least once.

Classic #5 – The Godfather

The Godfather is one of the most influential and celebrated movies of all time. The story follows a mobster family as they go on their way through life – from starting off as small-time hoods to being involved with organized crime and eventually becoming powerful businessmen.

Classic #4 – Casablanca

In 1942, Howard Hawks directed Casablanca, which was based on Michael Arlen’s novel “The Green Pastures,” set during World War I. Humphrey Bogart plays Rick Blaine, who runs a café and falls in love with a woman named Ilsa Lund (Ingrid Bergman).

Classic #3 – Schindler’s List

Steven Spielberg’s 1993 Holocaust drama tells the true story of Oskar Schindler (Liam Neeson), an industrialist, who saved more than 1,200 Jews during the Holocaust. He did this by employing many Jewish people in factories producing ammunition for the German army.

Classic #2 – American Beauty

One of 1999’s most lauded films, American Beauty (starring Annette Bening, Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, Amy Poehler, and John Cusack) takes place over the course of one year, and focuses on Lester Burnham (Cusack), a middle-aged man living in suburbia.

Classic #1 – Star Wars: A New Hope

One of the original “Big Three” sci-fi epic space operas, Star Wars features some of Hollywood’s biggest stars – Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker – alongside lesser known actors such as James Earl Jones, Frank Oz, David Prowse, and uncredited cameos from George Lucas himself.

Conclusion

These movies inspired so many things, from music, to modern art and even gambling360 casino games and slot themes. They’ve been entertaining audiences for years, and will continue to do so long into the future. There are so many to choose from, but these 5 classics deserve to stand at the top as the best of the best.
