Ask Janice: How do I get over my friend looking for love elsewhere?

Dear Janice, I’m a 63-year-old widow who has been going out (literally) with a woman for three years. When I say going out, I mean just that. I want more and I’ve made this clear to her, but she just tells me to “go with the flow”. She refuses to hold hands or let me put my arm around her in the cinema, and it is making me feel really bad about myself, like I must be so ugly that she can’t bear to let me near her.
