British lingerie and adult toy retailer, Ann Summers, is opening its doors at Glasgow shopping centre, Buchanan Galleries just in time for Valentine’s Day

The iconic British lingerie retailer, Ann Summers, is set to open its third Glasgow city-centre store in February, marking a significant expansion for the brand in Scotland’s largest city. Known for its bold designs and empowering approach to intimate apparel, Ann Summers has been a fixture on the British high street for over 50 years, offering everything from everyday essentials to statement pieces for special occasions.

Located within Buchanan Galleries, the new store will offer shoppers a huge range of playful lingerie, women’s underwear, and swimwear, plus a collection of sexy accessories and toys. This latest addition to the shopping centre’s roster of retailers is expected to draw in crowds looking for something unique and stylish ahead of Valentine’s Day. The store’s layout will feature dedicated sections for different product lines, making it easy for customers to find exactly what they’re looking for, whether it’s a daring ensemble or a more understated piece.

For decades, Ann Summers has provided couples and singletons alike a collection of own-brand and designer lingerie sets and everyday underwear in an array of bright colours, patterns, styles, and sizes to suit every taste. The brand has built a reputation for its inclusive sizing and commitment to celebrating individuality, with many of its campaigns featuring diverse models and body types. This approach has resonated with shoppers across the UK, making Ann Summers a go-to destination for those looking to express themselves through fashion.

The new store is due to open ahead of Valentine’s Day, meaning that shoppers can grab themselves or a partner something naughty or nice for the upcoming season of love. Guests will be able to indulge in the newest Valentine’s Day collection, which was headed by Ann Summers’ brand ambassador and former Love Islander, Tasha Ghouri. The collection features a mix of romantic reds, sultry blacks, and playful pastels, designed to cater to a variety of tastes and preferences. Tasha’s involvement in the campaign has added a fresh, modern touch, appealing to a younger demographic while still retaining the brand’s signature style.

Natalie Amosu, CMO at Ann Summers, said, “We are thrilled to be opening our third store in the heart of Glasgow and unveiling our brilliant Valentine’s campaign featuring Tasha Ghouri. We are so proud of our fantastic new product ranges and can’t wait to share it with Glasgow shoppers!” The opening is part of Ann Summers’ broader strategy to strengthen its presence in key UK cities, with Glasgow being a particularly important market due to its vibrant shopping scene and fashion-forward residents.

Kathy Murdoch, Centre Manager at Buchanan Galleries, said, “We’re delighted to be adding Ann Summers to our retailer line-up ahead of Valentine’s Day this February. Ann Summers has been a staple on the British high street for decades, and we hope that this latest addition at Buchanan Galleries encourages shoppers to visit and embrace their individual style with confidence.” The inclusion of Ann Summers is expected to boost foot traffic to the shopping centre, particularly during the Valentine’s Day period, which is traditionally one of the busiest times of the year for retailers.

Ann Summers is due to open in Buchanan Galleries on the 2nd February. To find out more, visit Buchanan Galleries’ website: https://buchanangalleries.co.uk/.
