EVERYONE looked like they were in a pretty good mood as they headed into the SNP conference in Glasgow at the weekend – and why wouldn’t they be? The delegates had only just heard about some new opinion polls that seem to show that Brexit has boosted support for independence. Not only that, one of the polls suggests that, in the event of a no-deal Brexit, 52 per cent of Scots would back independence.
