Renowned Glasgow Eateries Exposed for Tax Evasion: A Comprehensive List

Glasgow’s prominent dining establishments have recently come under fire as tax evaders, as the latest tax defaulters’ list is unveiled, shedding light on the city’s tax-dodging businesses.

Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has exposed the companies and entrepreneurs that have been subjected to penalties for neglecting to pay the appropriate taxes.

Through the Deliberate Defaulters program, HMRC identifies individuals or businesses that have intentionally defaulted on tax payments exceeding £25,000. The full list is published periodically, with updates occurring every few months.

After a year, the information is removed from the list. This practice is commonly referred to as “naming and shaming.
