Glasgow to Southampton: easyJet’s Latest Route Addition.
Leading budget airline, easyJet, has unveiled an exciting new flight path out of Glasgow Airport, enhancing the connection between Scotland and the rest of the UK.

This fresh, year-round route will link Glasgow to the coastal city of Southampton, marking its debut this winter season. Slated to launch on the 2nd of November, flight departures are set for twice weekly every Thursday and Saturday.

Ali Gayward, the UK country manager for easyJet, expressed her delight about the announcement. She emphasized the enhanced connectivity this new service would bring, enabling Scotland’s residents and visitors to explore a broader range of UK destinations. The intent is to facilitate reunions with family and friends, cater to business needs, and uncover the diverse experiences the UK has to offer.

“We are privileged to stand as Scotland’s largest airline and continue to be dedicated to fortifying our matchless short-haul network. Our mission is to provide an increased variety of options for our customers across the UK, always with competitive fares and the hospitality our crew is renowned for,” Gayward added.

Echoing this sentiment, Matt Hazelwood, the Chief Commercial Officer at AGS Airport: the owner of Glasgow Airport expressed his enthusiasm for the new service. He stated, “easyJet’s decision to operate services between Glasgow and our sibling airport in Southampton this winter is a tremendous development. This extra service on this favored route promises to offer increased choice and adaptability for our business and leisure travelers alike.”
