An enthusiastic Scottish fan of the popular Netflix series One Day managed to convince his hungover girlfriend to scale Arthur’s Seat in Scotland.
Simultaneously, hilarious and romantic, he used TikTok to share a video of their adventurous hike depicting a scene straight out of the first episode of the fan-favourite show. To the surprise of many, this act recreated the iconic hill climb in beloved Glasgow by show characters Emma and Dexter.
Despite the her ordeal of being violently ill due to a hangover, she expresses in the clip how his eccentric love declaration made him the love of her life.
During the footage capture, she narrates their journey, stating, “My boyfriend made me climb Arthur’s Seat, while hungover and being violently sick. After watching One Day, he truly is the love of my life”. This unique story has since been covered by Edinburgh Live.
