In a heartrending incident on Glasgow’s bustling Argyle Street, a 39-year-old pedestrian tragically lost his life. The unfortunate accident took place near Gray Street, where the man was struck by a city bus.

The incident unfolded just as the clock had struck midnight, plunging the city into a state of shock and sorrow. Despite immediate intervention by authorities, the pedestrian was declared dead on site, marking a somber moment in the city’s night life.

The driver of the bus, a 44-year-old male, fortunately escaped unscathed, as did all the passengers aboard. However, the psychological impact of such an incident is undeniable and will undoubtedly linger.

Local law enforcement, led by Sgt. Nicholas Twigg of the Govan-based Divisional Road Policing Unit, is currently urging the public to come forward with any information.
