Administration Can’t Stop the Shopping Fun at Antonine Centre.

The Antonine Shopping Centre in Cumbernauld, Scotland has recently entered into administration under its owners, Bridges Antonine. The shopping center, which has been serving the community since 2007, boasts 200,000 sq ft of retail space, including 42 retail units and 1,100 car park spaces. Despite the recent news, it will continue to operate as usual while the management team works with administrators from Azets to find a resolution.

The Antonine Shopping Centre has been a staple in the community for over 16 years, attracting over 3.5 million visitors annually. With a diverse range of retailers, including TK Maxx, Next, and TJ Hughes, it has become a social hub and significant contributor to the economy of central Scotland.

James Fennessey, a restructuring partner with Azets, stated, “The Antonine Shopping Centre is a well-known and respected shopping destination in central Scotland. Its strong brand and high footfall make it a valuable asset to the region.” The administrators are working towards finding a resolution that will benefit all parties involved and maintain the Antonine Shopping Centre’s position as a leading regional shopping destination.
