SNIPEF, Scotland’s plumbing and heating employers’ association, invites the press to attend the finals of the Scottish Plumbing Apprentice of the Year competition this Friday, 16 June, at Glasgow Clyde College, Cardonald Campus.
The competition gathers Scotland’s brightest plumbing apprentices as they go head-to-head in the Copper, Lead, and Renewable Energy categories, showcasing their skills and knowledge in this fiercely competitive environment.

The competition is an outstanding platform for these apprentices to showcase their abilities, ingenuity, and employability attributes, culminating in the highly anticipated awarding of the prestigious title “Scottish Plumbing Apprentice of the Year” across all three categories.
We are extending an opportunity for the media to be part of this occasion to capture the competition’s thrilling moments and delve into the significance of apprenticeships as the profession’s next generation of skilled plumbing and heating engineers.

This is a great chance to highlight the importance of vocational education and its role in our community.
The competition starts at 10.00 am, with the winners being announced at 5.00 pm.
Exclusive interview opportunities will be available throughout the day, allowing you to gain insights from the apprentices, judges, lecturers, and SNIPEF Chief Executive, Fiona Hodgson.

Take a behind-the-scenes look and deepen your understanding of the industry’s landscape.
