Construction Progresses on Highly Desired New Homes Near Glasgow.

The next stage of a popular housing development near Glasgow is underway, following the rapid sale of the first 42 homes within just a few months.

The Gilbertfield Woods development in Cambuslang is now entering its second phase, which will feature three, four, and five-bedroom homes. Built by the renowned independent homebuilder Dundas, the project was initially announced in summer 2021, and the latest show home was unveiled last year.

These contemporary homes are designed to meet the highest energy efficiency standards, boasting roof-mounted solar panels, high-performance double-glazed windows, and Hive-enabled central heating systems. Additional highlights include ample built-in storage, luxurious fitted kitchens, private parking, and beautifully turfed front gardens.

Situated on the outskirts of Glasgow, Gilbertfield Woods offers excellent transportation options, with three nearby train stations and easy access to the M73/M74 and M8 motorways. The development is also within close proximity to a variety of primary and secondary schools.

Craig Fairfoull, Dundas’ head of sales and marketing, shared his excitement about the project’s success: “Gilbertfield Woods has become one of our fastest-selling developments, and we fully expect the next batch of highly anticipated homes to generate a similar level of interest.”

He added, “The Gilbertfield Woods community is already thriving, thanks to the many new residents who have moved in. We’re making swift progress on the second phase of the site and can’t wait to see the finished properties, helping even more individuals embark on their new home journey.”

With its prime location, modern amenities, and efficient design, the Gilbertfield Woods development is set to continue attracting homebuyers eager for a fresh start in a flourishing community.
